2008 Stellar Women's Leadership Delegation to China

In March of 2008, Stellar brought together an international delegation of women leaders for eight days of inspiring and educational programs in China.

The delegation met with hundreds of Chinese women leaders and explored four cities in China, including Hong Kong, Lijiang, Beijing and Shanghai.

In cooperation with the All China Women's Federation and the American Chambers of Commerce in Beijing and Shanghai, the delegates explored issues that are shaping the world of today and tomorrow: energy, cancer, investment, economic development and the migration from rural to urban China.    It was an intensive learning and sharing experience: looking behind the scenes at what’s driving the China’s booming economy, helping brighten the lives of migrant children, making connections and friendships that will last a lifetime.
